BGMEA opens Mahabub Ali Hall in own building

CHITTAGONG, April 21: The BGMEA Chittagong region today opened its Mahabub Ali Hall at the BGMEA Bhaban at South Khulsi of the port city. President of the association of garments manufacturers and exporters Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin inaugurated the hall in presence of the directors and members of the family of late Mahabub Ali, former first vice president of the BGMEA. The function was also addressed by BGMEA first vice president Nasiruddin Chowdhury, former first vice presidents and KDS Group chairman Khalilur Rahman, Ershadullah, Daily Azadi editor MA Malek, Daily Purbokone editor Taslim Uddin Chowdhury and director of Habib Group Yasin Ali. Earlier in the morning the board of directors of the newly elected committee of the BGMEA held its first meeting at the new building of the garments owners.
