BHBFC earns Tk. 1.95b in last fiscal

Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation provisionally posted a net profit of about Tk. 1.95 billion in the fiscal year 2013-2014, said a statement. It was Tk 1.88 billion in the fiscal year 2012-2013. During the fiscal year, BHBFC had sanctioned Tk. 2.85 billion and disbursed Tk. 3.88 billion with the part of that of the previous year. In the fiscal year 2012-2013, the sanctioned and disbursed amount was Tk. 5.39 billion and Tk 4.37 billion respectively. In the fiscal year 2013-2014, the recovered amount was Tk. 5.38 billion out of which Tk. 4.62 billion was recovered. The status of loan recovery has improved significantly. The present rate of classified loan is about 6.50 per cent against 9.25 per cent of 2012-2013.
