BICDA lauds offering transit to India

CHITTAGONG, Jan 23: Bangladesh Inland Container Depot Association (BICDA) in a statement to the press has hailed the government for Bangladesh-India bilateral memorandum of understanding signed during the recent India visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
President of BICDA Nurul Qayyum Khan said, although belated the measures taken is practical in the present ambience of globalisation.
He opined that the expected development of Bangladesh is not possible if it closes its doors in a world where one country establishes connectivity with another emphasising global trade.
