Bicyclist killed in Ctg road accident

CHITTAGONG, Mar 24 (BSS): A bicyclist was killed and another youth injured in a road accident in Sadhanpur area under Banskhali Upazila of the district Monday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Farukh (27), while the injured was Mohammad Helal (30), both hailed from the said area.
Police said the accident occurred when a Chittagong-bound passenger bus ran over the bicycle of Farukh and Helal in front of Badar Shah Dargah at around 9.30am.
Faruk died on the spot while critically injured Helal was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
Police detained the bus but its driver managed to escape after the accident.
