Bijoy Sarkar\\\'s birth anniv today

JESSORE, Feb 19 (BSS): The 112th birth anniversary of renowned Charon Kabi 'Ekushey Padak' awarded Bijoy Sarker will be observed tomorrow in a befitting manner at his native village Dumdi under Narail Sadar upazila of the district.
Charon Kabi Bijoy Sarker foundation, district administration and birth celebration committee-2014 has chalked out a daylong programme to mark the birthday of the celebrated folk singer.
The daylong celebration programmes will begin with placing of floral wreaths at the singer's portrait.
The programme also includes performing Bijoygiti, Jari and Kabi songs and discussion will be held at Bijoy Sarker Mancha premises at 4pm.
