Bijoy Utshob begins in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, Dec 27 (BSS): Fisheries and Livestock Minister Abdul Latif Biswas said Saturday the nation must be freed from stigma through trial of war criminals.
The minister said this while addressing the inaugural function of a 15-day Bijoy Utshab at Joypurhat Stadium as the chief guest.
With chairman of the Bijoy Utshab Organising Committee Momin Ahmed Chowdhury in the chair, Abu Sayed Al Mahmud Showpon, organising secretary of Awami League, was present as special guests.
Secretary of Joypurhat Library and Club Lutfe Akbar Chowdhury, vice president of district AL Golam Hokkani, Panel Mayor of Joypurhat Municipality Nandolal Parchi, senior advocate Nondo Kishor Agorwala and journalist Aminul Hoq Babul, among others, spoke.
