Biker crushed under bus

A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in Banskhali Upazila in Chittagong district on Thursday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Md Ayub, 50. Police said a Chittagong-bound bus of ‘Allah Malik Paribahan’ rammed his bike instantly killing him in the Upazila headquarters around 1:00pm. Infuriated by the accident, local people detained the bus and set it afire. They also blocked the Banskhali-Chittagong road. However, the road blockade was withdrawn following police intervention, according to a news agency.
