Biker dies in Noakhali crash

A motorcyclist was killed and another injured in a road accident at Senbagh Upazila in Noakhali district on Monday night. The dead is Rahad Ahmed, 25, son of Mujibul Haque of Rajarampur village of the Upazila. Mominul Islam, officer-in-charge of Senbagh Police Station, said a speeding truck from Feni hit the motorcycle carrying Rahad and Raju at Tinpukuria on Feni-Noakhali Highway around 8:30pm, leaving Rahad dead on the spot and Raju critically. Raju was admitted to a local hospital. Police seized the truck but the driver managed to escape, according to UNB.
