Biker killed, 2 others injured in crash

A bike rider was killed and two others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Narayanganj Link Road in Chashara of Narayanganj district on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as Parvez, 32, a resident of Kadamtali area of Dhaka. Witnesses said the accident took place when a Dhaka-bound covered van hit the motorcycle Parvez was driving on the Dhaka-Narayanganj Link Road around 9:30pm, leaving the three bike riders injured. The injured were rescued and rushed to Khanpur 300-bed Hopsipal while Parvez died on the way to the hospital. Later, the rest of the injured were referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), according to a news agency.
