Biman leases aircraft from Kobe Air
Thursday, 13 March 2008
Biman has leased a Boeing aircraft from the Nigeria-based Kobe Air, bringing its fleet size to 13, officials said. The 582-seater Boeing 747-200 plane was added Wednesday to the national flag carrier's aged fleet to fly mainly on the Middle-East route, they said. "We took the lease for six months. It will partly reduce the carrier's current fleet crisis," a senior Biman official said. — FE Report
