Revolutionary Binod Bihari Chowdhury has recently been honoured by Jamuna Bank Foundation (JBF) and Unitrend Limited for his legendary outstanding contributions, according to a press release.
JBF has accorded reception and awarded lifetime financial support to Binod Bihari for his contribution to the liberation of this country from the clutches of Imperialist British Raj.
Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr Atiur Rahman was present as the chief guest at the function with JBF Chairman Nur Mohammad in the chair.
Commerce Bank Limited Chairman AQ Siddiqui, Jamuna Bank Limited Director MA Khayer, former Foreign Secretary Mohiuddin Ahmed, Prothom Alo Resident Editor Abul Momen and TV personality Khairul Alam Sabuj were present as the guests of honour.
Jamuna Bank Managing Director Md Motior Rahman gave the address of welcome.
It may be mentioned that Unitrend Limited has been expressing its admiration and appreciation for individuals who have devoted their endeavours for humanity and the success of the country. This programme was organised to honour such an individual at the Spectra Convention Centre.
