Biswal due Nov 27 after attending Saarc Summit

US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Desai Biswal will arrive in Dhaka on November 27 (Thursday) on a 2-day visit to Bangladesh after attending the 18th Saarc Summit in Kathmandu, Nepal, according to a diplomatic source. A media note issued from Washington on Friday night, said Biswal will travel to India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, and Switzerland November 23–December 5. She will arrive in Bangladesh on Thursday night after attending the 18th Saarc Summit in Kathmandu. Biswal will arrive here to participate in meetings with government officials, civil society and labour group leaders, and members of the business community, the source said. The media note issued from Washington said that Biswal will represent the United States as an observer state at the 18th Annual South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) Summit to be held in the Nepalese capital on November 26-27, according to a news agency.
