BJGA gets new chairman

The 44th annual general meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh Jute Goods Association (BJGA) was held at the conference room of the Association Wednesday, a BJGA release said Saturday, reports BSS.
Presided over by Md Zakirul Islam, the outgoing chairman, the meeting confirmed the minutes of the 43rd AGM, passed the annual report for 2013-2014, audited balance sheet and statement of accounts for the year 2013-2014 and appointed auditors for the year 2013-2014.
Md Zakirul Islam received the new chairman Kamrul Islam Khan Monem with a bouquet.
The new chairman conveyed his sincere thanks to the outgoing office bearers who worked for the last two years for smooth flow of exports and represented this association in all related national and international forum.
He also urged all to extend their sincere cooperation and support to the BJGA.
