BJMC clinch title beating Ansar

Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) clinched the Exim Bank 28th National Women's Handball title beating Bangladesh Ansar by 32-21 goals in the final at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city on Friday, reports UNB.
This is the 11th national crown and 4th in a row for BJMC.
BJMC led the first half by 17-10 goals. Dalia scored nine and Khaleda six goals for the winners while Ismat Ara netted eight goals for the losers. Later, Dalia Akhter was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
Director of Exim Bank Alhaj Nurul Amin Faruk witnessed the day's final as chief guest and later he distributed the prizes at the closing function chaired by president of Bangladesh Handball Federation AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul. Councillor of DCC (South) Ward no-9 AKM Mominul Haque Sayed was also present.
Earlier in a place deciding match, Bangladesh Police finished 3rd beating Panchagarh District by 22-13 goals after leading the first half by 10-6 goals at the same venue.
Sayeda contributed 10 and Rubina 7 for the winners while Rekha netted four for the losers.
