bKash agent with Tk 6.0m goes missing

An agent of ‘bKash’, a mobile money transfer service provider, went missing after withdrawing Tk 6.0 million from a bank in Bagerhat district town on Thursday noon. Locals said Shahin Hawlader, son of Sultan Hawlader of Bhatkhali village in Morelganj upazila, withdrew the amount from the town branch of BRAC Bank at noon. However, he did not return to Mongla bKash office in the afternoon. Being informed about the incident, additional superintendent of police of Bagerhat M Hayatul Islam visited BRAC Bank branch. District police have already started a drive to rescue the missing bKash agent, according to a news agency.
