bKash clients still facing problem in money transaction

Many agents and clients of the mobile banking service provider, bKash, are still facing problem in money transaction across the country despite partial improvement of its network system disruption.  
Some agents alleged that they were not able to do smooth transaction as before, although the service improved to some extent. They however said it was better than last week when transactions were almost halted.
"Money transaction during daytime works better than in the evening," said Mainuddin, a bKash agent of Noakhali.
He informed the FE that the customers did not understand the network problem; they wanted instant result of their transaction. "As a result we have become victim of the situation," Mr Uddin mentioned.
When contacted, bKash CEO Kamal Quadir said a continuous process for developing their system was going on. Now they are performing better.
He informed the FE that several hundred thousands of transactions took place Sunday.
bKash is the largest mobile banking channel of the country whose customers have been facing problem in money transaction mainly since February 11 for system failure.
In a statement Thursday last, the company mentioned that "During the upgradation period, some customers and agents may experience temporary service disruption. bKash regrets for any inconvenience."   
bKash has the largest customer base with around 10.7 million registered customers out of total 13.2 million. It has 85,000 agents across the country.
Some 19 banks have introduced mobile financial service after taking approval from the central bank. Of them, Brac Bank subsidiary - bKash, Dutch-Bangla Bank and Islami Bank are in leading position in providing mobile banking service.
