bKash signs agreement with Teletalk

bKash Limited Monday signed an agreement with the state-owned mobile phone operator Teletalk Bangladesh Limited which would soon allow the Teletalk users to open bKash wallet and access to mobile financial services offered by bKash.  
Managing Director of Teletalk Gias Uddin Ahmed and Chief Executive Officer of bKash, Kamal Quadir signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies.
Currently, bKash offers mobile financial services using the network of Grameenphone, Banglalink, Robi and Airtel.
"The agreement is a milestone for Teletalk as it will give our customers to access bKash mobile financial services, an essential need of the common people of Bangladesh", said Gias Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director of Teletalk.
Launched in December 2004 as the fifth mobile phone operator, Teletalk has around 3.9 million customers.
"Having Teletalk as our network partner will surely help us to take the mobile financial services to more people and serve our objective of financial inclusion", said Kamal Quadir, Chief Executive Officer of bKash.
