BKB arranges 'Shovo Hal Khata' to recover loans

BRAHMANBARIA, Apr 18: Brahmanbaria zone of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) has taken a special week-long credit recovery programme titled 'Shuvo Hal Khata' on the occasion of Bengali New Year-1417 to recover its outstanding loans.
BKB's main branch at Brahmanbaria arranged the 'Shuvo Hal Khata' programme at its office in the town recently.
BKB General Manager and Divisional In-charge for Comilla Md Mosharof Hossain Chowdhury inaugurated the Hal Khata programme as the chief guest. BKB Deputy General Manager (DGM) and Chief Regional Manager (CRM) for Brahmanbaria Anil Kumar Saha Roy presided over the function and delivered the address of welcome at the function.
Among others, Brahmanbaria District Police Superintendent Md Mukhlesur Rahman, BKB Deputy General Manager and Chief Regional Manager for Comilla zone Md Nurrunnabi Sheikh, BKB's Divisional Audit officer for Comilla Division Md Abul Hossain, Assistant General Manager (AGM) Md Abul Hossain, AGM Md Shahjahan and AGM Md Didarul Alam Chowdhury were also present as special guests.
BKB Brahmanbaria main branch Manager and AGM Dilip Kumar Bhattachariya conducted the inaugural function.
BKB recovered Tk 12.20 million and disbursed Tk 10.10 million on the day in Brahmanbaria.
