BKB disburses over Tk 460m in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, Jan 29 (BSS): Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB), Chuadanga region, disbursed over Taka 467.4 million as agriculture and business loans among 6,985 clients in four upazilas of the district during the first six months of the current fiscal year.
BKB has been implementing a massive loan disbursement programme in all the four upazilas of the district to boosting agriculture products, livestock, fish production, poverty alleviation etc and running various small businesses.
The bank has fixed up a target for disbursing Taka 804.5 million as agriculture and business loans in the district during the current fiscal year.
On the other hand, the bank has realised Taka 554.54 million during the same period as outstanding loan from 6,914 clients in the upazilas.
The bank has fixed up a target for realizing Taka 874 million outstanding loan.
There are eleven branches of the bank in the district through which loans are distributed and realised.
