BKB disburses Tk 15.47b loan in 5 months

Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) disbursed Tk 15.47 billion (1547 crore) loan during last five months of the current fiscal year (FY), which was Tk 4.79 billion higher than the amount disbursed during the corresponding period of the last FY, said a press release.
During the same period, the BKB recovered Tk 7.30 billion loan, which was higher by Tk 760 million compared to the corresponding period of the last FY.
The bank geared up delivery of rural and agricultural loans on the context of the devastating cyclone Sidr.
