BKB disburses Tk 342.8m loan in Narsingdi

NARSINGDI, Feb 11 (BSS): Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) Narsingdi region has disbursed Taka 34.28 crore as agricultural loan among 3,925 farmers through its 21 branches in the district during the last seven months of the current financial year.
Official sources said BKB earmarked Taka 700 million for disbursement of loan in the region for the current fiscal year. The percentage of loan disbursement stands 49 percent on January 31 (seven months).
Meanwhile, the bank realized Taka 420 million from 5,738 clients against the total target of Taka 1.09 million this year.
