BKB disburses Tk 37.3m as loan in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, Sept 7 (BSS): Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) has disbursed nearly Tk 37.3 million as agriculture loan and commercial loan among recipients of four upazilas of the district during the last two months of the current financial year.
The four upazilas of the district are Chuadanga Sadar, Alamdanga, Damurhuda and Jibannagar.
According to an official source the loans have been disbursed for the cultivators of IRRI-Boro paddy, vegetables, cattle fattening, pond digging, tractor purchase, agriculture equipment purchase, poverty alleviation and cash capital for running business.
The bank has fixed up a target for disbursing Tk 590 million and 6.0 million among the recipients as agriculture loan and business loan in the district.
