BKB earns profit of Tk 55m

NARSINGDI, July 23 (BSS): Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) Narsingdi region earned a record profit of Tk 55million (Tk 5.50 crore) in 2014-2015 fiscal year.
The Bank realised the outstanding agricultural loan amounting to Tk 1.11billion  which is Tk 2.04 million more then the realisation target.
The realisation target of outstanding loan was fixed at Tk 1.09 billion including classified loan of Tk 520 million, sources said.
BKB sources said BKB Narsingdi region attained significant success in recovery of classified loan in the same fiscal year.BKB recovered Tk 485.6 million classified loan through its 21 branches of the region.
Deputy General Manager (DGM) of BKB Narsingdi region Gokul Chandra Roy told  the news agency that the success of loan recovery and profit of the bank was achieved from loan recovery by the bank management of the region.
