BKB gets three new DMDs

The state-owned Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) gets three new deputy managing directors (DMDs). The three are Chanu Gopal Ghosh, Mir Mofazzul Hossain and Salma Banu, says the bank in a statement on Monday.
They have been promoted to the posts of DMD recently by the government and they have joined the BKB accordingly.
Earlier, Chanu Gopal Ghosh was promoted as General Manager (GM) at the Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) where he served successfully. Later he performed as GM at the BKB for its Kushtia Division.
He started his banking career with the BHBFC as a Senior Officer in 1996. He held important posts throughout his career at field levels and at the head office as departmental head. He obtained MSS in Economics from Chittagong University and MBA from the University of Dhaka in Accounting & Information Systems. He also completed a course on 'Certified Expert in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime (CEAF)' from the BIBM. He hails from Dakhin Bijoypur under Gouronodi upazila of Barishal district.
Mir Mofazzul Hossain earlier served successfully at the BKB as GM. He was the GM for Dhaka Division, Sylhet Division and LPO at the BKB.
He started his banking career with the BHBFC as a Senior Officer in 1996. He held important posts throughout his career including the post of administration, Audit & Recovery at the BHBFC. He also served at the Palli Sanchay Bank as GM of admin & accounts division. Now he is in charge of International Accounts Division, Internal Control & Compliance Division and in additional charge of Local Principal Office of the BKB.
He also graduated with honours and completed his post-graduation degree in Economics from Jahangirnagar University. He hails from Charshindur under Palash upazila of Narshingdi district.
Prior to the new assignment, Salma Banu served successfully at the Rupali Bank Limited as GM. She was the GM (Admin & HR) of Rupali Bank Limited.
She started her banking career with Rupali Bank Limited as a Senior Officer in 1998. She held different important posts throughout her long career of 23 years, including the post of branch head, Principal of training academy and head of various important departments at the Head Office of Rupali Bank Limited. She graduated with honours and completed her post-graduation degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka.
