BKB holds business confce of forex branch heads

A conference of the Foreign Exchange Branch Heads of Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) was held at the bank's head office in the capital on Sunday, says a statement.
BKB Chairman Mohammad Ismail was present as the chief guest at the conference, presided over by Managing Director Md Ali Hossain Prodhania.
Addressing the programme, BKB Chairman Ismail advised the concerned officials to work to make the bank a profitable one in the current fiscal year (FY-18).
Speaking on the occasion, Ali Hossain Prodhania gave important directives to strengthen fund mobilisation by collecting low-cost and no-cost deposits, and recover classified loans.
He also gave necessary guidelines on quality loan disbursement with view to achieving all business targets.
Deputy Managing Director Md Fazlul Haque, all general managers of the Head Office and the general manager of LPO, and other concerned officials were present, among others.
