BKB officers award meritorious offsprings

The central committee of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Officers' Welfare Association organised a colourful reception at the bank's divisional office in Khulna Saturday for the meritorious children of the bank's personnel, who achieved brilliant results in different examinations.
Crests and certificates were awarded to 31 students who secured GPA-5 in SSC and HSC examinations and to 27 students, who secured primary and junior scholarships in talent pools, held in 2006.
Bangladesh Krishi Bank General Manager (Khulna Division) Maswood Alam Khan distributed crests and certificates among the meritorious students as the chief guest of the function.
BKB Regional Manager (Jhenidah region) Md Abdullah Shabbir presided over the programme.
BKB Officers' Welfare Association President Nurun Nabi Sheikh, Executive President ARM Salare Jahan, General Secretary Mahtab Ali Rashedi and DGM of Khulna Corporate Branch Md Nurul Amin were also present, among others, on the occasion.
About 600 people including meritorious children and their parents and bank personnel attended the reception followed by a cultural function.
