BKB officials urged to sanction more agri loans

Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) Mymensingh division officials have been urged to disburse more agricultural loans with utmost sincerity and transparency with a view to attaining food sufficiency.
Managing Director of the bank Mukter Hussain made the appeal while speaking as the chief guest at a performance review meeting of the bank's Mymensingh division recently, said a press release.
The managing director also urged the officials to achieve all the business targets within the remaining period of the current fiscal year.
Chief Regional Manager of Mymensingh Md Belal Hossain Khan presided over the meeting.
All regional managers of Mymensingh division and branch managers of Mymensingh region were present at the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the performance of bank's branches during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2008-09.
Among others, Deputy General Manager of BCBD Department of the bank ATM Anisur Rahman and Divisional Audit Officer Md Shahjahan Chowdhury were present at the meeting.
