BKB will disburse Tk 78b in current fiscal in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, Oct 31: Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) will distributes 78 billion taka at current fiscal in Habiganj district. BKB has distributed 10.92 billion as loan for the consumers by 33 branches at last 3 months in the year. they have set up a target for loan disbursement Tk 78 billion and the recovery target is Tk 57.80 billion.
BKB source said, last year they disbursed TK 48.16 billion while the target was 77 billion. BKB recovered Tk 21billion against the target of Tk 73 billion.
The loan schemes for the fiscal year 2010-2011 are crops-40.65 billion, animal-9.62 billion, fisheries-5.36 billion, agricultural instrument-.62 billion, irrigation instrument-.95 billion, crops Goodowning-.20 billion, agriculture based industry-.20, current loan-12.22, SME-5.45 and others-.04 billion in the year.
CRM Ruhini Kumar Paul said, BKB was playing a great role for the development of agriculture and farmers and also making a remarkable contribution in the various social work for poverty alleviation. he also said BKB is now at the farmers door.
