BKB's countrywide 'Modhumela' from today

Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) has organised a special business programme titled 'Modhumela' marking the 'Modhumash' Jaisthya of the Bangla year in order to gear up its disbursement and recovery of loans, said a press release.
The fortnightly programme will be conducted from today (Sunday) to May 28 throughout the 951 branches across the country.
During the programme, the BKB will gear up all types of banking activities by communicating with all the transacting and prospective clients of the bank with special emphasis on agricultural loans and deposit mobilisation.
On the occasion of the 'mela' an extensive publicity and motivation campaign will be carried out in the areas of the branches through personal contact, leaflets, miking, 'dhole- sohorat' etc.
During the programme, executives of the bank including the BKB managing director will visit the concerned areas.
