BKSP become new champions in Fed Cup Basketball

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) emerged as new champions in the 9th Federation Cup Basketball beating Josephites Club by 73-61 points in the final at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
Former national basketball player and freedom fighter Kazi Kamaluddin Ahmed Bir Bikram was the chief guest in the final and later distributed the prizes. Basketball Federation Vice-President Mahtabur Rahman Bulbul and general secretary Lt. Commander (retd) AK Sarker were present.
In the day's final, the winners led the first half 38-27 points.
Manik caged 22, Shawon 15 and Setu 14 points for BKSP, while Raja scored 23, Allen 13 and Rajib 11 points for Josephites Club.
