BKSP move to quarterfinals

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) moved to the quarterfinals of the Citycell Federation Cup Football tournament beating all-losers Victoria SC by 2-1 goals at the Gazipur Stadium Sunday, reports UNB.
Sabuj struck twice for BKSP -- in the 10th and 41st minutes-- while Ripon netted the lone goal for Victoria in the 85th minute.
With the day's win, BKSP in their maiden appearance in the countrywide soccer meet qualified for the last eight from Group C with unbeaten run securing seven points from three matches.
Old horse Victoria SC completed their engagements in the season's curtain raiser meet without securing any point as they lost all the three group matches.
