LONDON, Sept 29 (Bloomberg): An explosion in the capital of the Maldives injured 12 people including two Britons, the UK government said.
The bomb exploded at about 1:30 pm local time outside the main mosque in Male, said a spokeswoman for the London-based Foreign Office who asked not to be identified in accordance with government policy.
The attack with a homemade bomb outside Sultan Park also left six Chinese and two Japanese tourists with burns, the Associated Press reported.
