Bloomberg recognises EPL research on Bangladesh equity mkt

A research conducted by a local merchant bank, Equity Partners Limited (EPL), has been approved by the Quality Control Department of Bloomberg, a New York-based company specialised in financial news and information services.
The research covers a broad spectrum from sector and macroeconomic reviews to performance analysis of individual stocks, a company statement said Thursday, said a press release.
EPL owns Equity Partners Securities Limited, a member of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
EPL provides services mostly to foreign investors and the majority of portfolio investments taking place in the Bangladesh securities market over the last few years have come through the direct involvement of EPL.
