BMCCI elects office-bearers

Salahuddin Kasem Khan and Syed Moazzam Hossain have been elected president and secretary general respectively of the Bangladesh Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) for the term 2008-2009.
They were elected at the annual general meeting (AGM) of the Chamber in the city recently, said a press release.
Salahuddin Kasem is the managing director of AK Khan and Company Limited and chairman of the TM International (BD) Limited (AKTEL).
Syed Moazzam Hossain is the managing director of SMH Engineering Limited.
The AGM also elected eight members of the board of directors.
The other members of the board are vice presidents Abdus Salam and Nur Shaffik Haris, Joint Secretary General AKM Fakhrul Alam, Treasurer Md Alamgir Jalil and directors AF Rahman, M Masudur Rahman, MA Bakar and Md Tofazzal Hossain, the release added.
