BMCCI, Mahmood discuss trade issues

Leaders of the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) met
Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali at the latter's office in the city Sunday, reports BSS.
BMCCI president Nasir A Choudhury led the delegation.
Vice president of the trade body ASM Mainuddin Monem, Treasurer Syed Almas Kabir, directors Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Engr Mohammad Badrul Hsssan and Yesmin Ipphat were present during the meeting.
During the meeting, the BMCCI leaders put forward a set of recommendations to reduce the existing Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur trade gap.
Many issues including increasing Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from Malaysia, manpower export to Malaysia and removal of barriers to the two-way trade came up for discussion during the meeting.
