BMCCI new Board takes office

Syed Moazzam Hossain, Managing Director of SMH Group and Mr. Ashraful Haq Chowdhury General Manager of Warid Telecom International Limited have been elected as President and Hony. Secretary General respectively of the Bangladesh Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BMCCI) for the years 2010 and 2011.
Syed Moazzarn Hossain was President of Bangladesh Indenting Agents Association and Director of the DCCI. Before elected President Syed Moazzarn Hossain was the Hony. Secretary General of the BMCCI for two terms. He obtained Masters in Social Science from Dhaka University.
Mr Ashraful Haq Chowdhury is the General Manager of Warid Telecom International Limited. He is also the Secretary General of AMTOM. He obtained his Masters in Economics from the Chittagong University. He is associated with various professional organizations.
Dr Rosli Bin Yaakop, Managing Director of Ahsania-Malaysia Hajj Investment & Finance Company Limited and Mr. Nasir A Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO of Green Delta Insurance Co. Ltd. as Vice Presidents while Dr Wong Kah Hieng, Principal & Director Ethos Enterprise (BD) Pte. Ltd. and Mr. Md. Alamgir Jalil, Managing Director of Design Vision Associates Ltd. have been elected Hony. Jt. Secretary General & Hony. Treasurer respectively for the same period.
The other elected members of the new Board of Directors are Mr A F Rahman, Syed Nurul Islam, Mr M A Bakar, Mr Michael Kuehner, Mr Ali Reza Iftekhar, Mr Md Mahtab Uddin, Mr. M. Farukul Islam Shova, Mr M R A Taha and Mr Raquib Mohammad Fakhrul.
