BNACWC holds 6th gen meet

The 6th general meeting of Bangladesh National Authority for Chemical Weapon Convention (BNACWC) was held at Armed Forces Division Conference Room Tuesday, reports UNB.
Chaired by Lieutenant General Abdul Wadud, 16 joint secretaries from different ministries along with representatives from three services attended the meeting as members of the organisation.
Obligation of Bangladesh as a State Party to the Chemical Weapons Convention and steps envisaged to fulfil these preparation for a national database, organising national workshop, preparation for a standing order procedure for OPCW inspection, enrolment procedure for the personnel/companies to use chemical substance, chemical safety, assistance and protection for chemical accidents and achievements of the National Authority came up for discussion.
