BNCC team off to Maldives

A five-member Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) team led by Major Hamida Chowdhury left Dhaka for the Maldives Friday night to join a 10-day 'MNCC Cadet Camp XIIF beginning today (Sunday), reports BSS.
BNCC team will participate in 'MNCC Cadet Camp XIII' parade and different training programmes arranged by National Cadet Corps (NCC) of the Maldives.
The BNCC team will call on President of the Maldives, Chief of Defence Staff, Army Chief, high military and civil officials.
Besides, the team members will visit different civil and military establishments in the Maldives.
During their stay, they will exchange views with SAARC countries' cadets and take part in different training activities with them.
CUO HM Shohel Rana, Corporal M Zahir Ahmed, Corporal Ashrafunesa Aoria and Cadet Mamtaz Parvine are among the team members.
The BNCC team is expected to return home on December 9.
