BNP again denies Khaleda-officials\\\' meeting

Sunday, 7 December 2014

Trashing reports that there was a meeting between their party chief and government officials, BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir again said that it was Awami League which come to state power by hatching conspiracy. ‘It is Awami League, not BNP, which has the record of capturing power through plots. BNP or Khaleda Zia does not need to resort to conspiracy to go to power, the BNP spokesman has said while addressing a press conference in the city. He criticised AL Prime Minister and AL chief Sheikh Hasina for what he said making indecent and indecorous comments about BNP its leaders and the country’s revered and patriot citizens. Once again terming baseless the media reports about Khaleda’s meeting with government officials at her Gulshan office, Mirza Alamgir said: ‘Our chairperson regularly holds meeting at her Gulshan office as party leaders visit it. But the media reports on Thursday’s meeting are unfounded.’ He also said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made indecent remarks at her press conference about it. ‘We even hate to utter her remarks. Awami League is the only party which has the record of assuming power through conspiracies,’ he added, according to a news agency.
