BNP arranges special prayers today on Tarique's release

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) announced a programme of post-juma special prayers at mosques across the country for today (Friday) for expressing gratitude at the release of its leader Tarique Rahman, reports UNB.brThe special prayers sponsored by the former ruling political party are also for his early recovery and securing the release of party chairperson Khaleda Zia.brSpecial prayers will also be held at places of worship of other religions, said a BNP announcement Thursday.brBNP secretary general Khondoker Delwar Hossain called upon all, including party faithfuls, to attend the prayers.brTarique Rahman, elder son of detained former premier Khaleda Zia, was released on bail Wednesday.
