BNP-backed candidates win 34, AL-backed 24, others 14 in UZ polls

According to unofficial election results from 72 upazilas, Awami League-supported chairman candidates won in 24 upazilas while BNP-backed candidates won in 34 upazilas and others in 14 upazilas, as election was held in 97 upazilas in 40 districts across the country on Wednesday.
