BNP blasts PM for no-dialogue remark

Saturday, 26 July 2014

Taking a swipe at the Prime Minister for her remark that there would be no dialogue with BNP, party spokesperson Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said it has only exposed her (Sheikh Hasina’s) intention to keep BNP away from election. ‘The Prime Minister in an interview with the BBC said there would be no dialogue with BNP. It has exposed that she wants to keep BNP out of election,’ Mirza Alamgir told a discussion. National Association of Graduates, Bangladesh, arranged the discussion-cum Iftar party at a city hotel. The BNP leader said Awami League cannot take criticisms and tolerate its opponents. ‘They’d established one-party rule Baksal in the past. Now they’re restoring it in a different style.’ He called upon BNP leaders and activists to take all-out preparations to oust the governmen through a strong movement, according to UNB.
