BNP calls hartal in 5 Bagerhat UZs

BAGERHAT: BNP called a daylong hartal in Bagerhat sadar, Morrelganj, Mongla, Rampal and Sharankhola uapzilas for Sunday protesting various irregularities during the election Saturday, according to a news agency.
Bagerhat district BNP president and convener of 18-party alliance M A Salam announced the hartal programme.
A Shibir activist was killed and 15 people were injured during polls to the five upazilas Saturday.
