BNP chalks out progs to celebrate founding anniv

BNP has chalked elaborate programmes to celebrate its 36th founding anniversary that falls on Monday. The party has centrally taken a 2-day programme to mark the founding anniversary, said a party press release on Friday. As per the programmes, the BNP will display photographs and documentaries on various activities and achievements of the party since its formation, on the second floor of National Press Club on Sunday from 10am. On Monday, the party flags will be hoisted atop its Naypaltan central office and all other offices of BNP across the country at 6am. Besides, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia along with party leaders and activists will place wreaths and offer fateha at the mazar of its founder late President Ziaur Rahman at 10.00am on the day. A discussion will also be held at Engineers’ Institute on Monday afternoon, according to a news agency.
