BNP declares four city convening committees

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced new committees for its four metropolitan city units, including Dhaka, to revitalise the party's ongoing anti-government movement.
BNP declared the new committees through a circular, issued by its senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Sunday.
Among these, a two-member convenor committee of Dhaka North BNP was constituted with former president of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal Saiful Alam Nirob as the convener and party's sports affairs secretary Aminul Haque as the member secretary.
A two-member partial committee of Dhaka South BNP was formed with its former member secretary Rafiqul Alam Maznu as the convener and former joint convener Tanvir Ahmed Robin as the member secretary.
Partial committee of Chattogram metropolitan BNP was formed with its leader Ershadullah as the convener and former student leader Nazimur Rahman as the member secretary.
Former convener of Barishal metropolitan city Moniruzzanan Khan Faruk was made the unit's convener, while its former joint convener Md Ziauddin Sikder Zia was made the member secretary and Afroza Khanam Nasrin as the number one joint convener.
