Friday, 5 December 2014

Voicing grave concern over the 'alarming' rise in road fatalities, BNP said Thursday the country's traffic management is a glaring example of its extreme anarchic administrative system, reports UNB.
In a statement, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said: "We're observing with deep anger and regret that the tragic deaths in road accidents are increasing alarmingly day by day.  Many people, including renowned journalist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury, have recently lost their lives in road crashes."
He also deplored that the ministers of the current government for what he said siding with errant drivers and playing a godfather's role in saving them.
