BNP expels ex-MP Salahuddin

Dhaka metropolitan BNP leader and former MP Salahuddin Ahmed has been expelled from the party on charges of breaching discipline, a senior party leader said. He was the cooperative affairs secretary of the newly formed central committee. Party chairperson Khaleda Zia had received complaints that the former Demra legislator had been involved in factional grouping in the metropolitan committee, office secretary Rizvi Ahmed told bdnews24.com Thursday.
