BNP has expelled its vice-chairman Nazmul Huda, reports bdnews24.com.
The main opposition's office secretary Rizvi Ahmed made the announcement at a press briefing at the party chief Khaleda Zia's office in Gulshan following a meeting of the party's standing committee. Khaleda had called the emergency meeting of BNP's policymakers on Sunday.
Huda had recently slammed Khaleda Zia's counsels for their lack of foresight in the case over her cantonment house. Khaleda was allegedly evicted from the house on Nov 13.
The former vice-chairman, a lawyer by training, had also criticised BNP's general strike protesting evacuation of the house.
