BNP faction writes to CA for release of Khaleda

A Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) faction led by Khondoker Delwar Hossain handed a letter to the Chief Adviser's (CA) office Sunday, with appeals for the release of Khaleda Zia and her sons Tarique Rahman and Arafat Rahman Koko before Independence Day.
BNP's acting office secretary Rizvi Ahmed carried the letter signed by the party's standing committee member Dr RA Ghani to the CA's office, reports bdnews24.com.
"The letter was handed over to the officials at the CA's office at 12:40 pm on the day. The two-page letter written on the party letterhead demanded the release of all political prisoners, including Khaleda Zia by March 26."
The decision on demand for the release of 'political prisoners' by writing a letter to the CA was taken at a meeting of the senior leaders of the BNP and its front organisations Thursday.
