BNP gets permission for human-chain prog

Though it was earlier denied permission for its Saturday’s programme, the BNP-led 20-party alliance has been permitted to form its human-chain programme in the city on Tuesday protesting enforced disappearances of its leaders and activists. “The authorities of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have given us permission for the human chain programme,” BNP’s Dhaka city unit member secretary Habibun Nabi Khan Sohel said, according to a news agency.
